Excursions
Sanilhac Village
Sanilhac offers a taste of two regions, Cévennes and Vivarais. It is 15 km from the Ardèche Gorges and surrounded by two magnificent rivers, the Beaume and the Roubreau. The Tour de Brison overlooks the village peacefully, from which you can admire the Alps, Monts Lozère and Tanargue, with a multitude of villages and hamlets nestled in its deep valleys.
From the heights of Sanilhac (450 m), discover the Ardèche landscapes: olive trees, chestnut trees, maritime pines and sandstone carved by time. You’ll find cherry trees in spring, heather in summer, mushrooms in autumn, and terraced vineyards.
